Use this before you say yes. It is easier to avoid a bad-fit project than to rescue one later.
- Can they describe the outcome clearly?
- Do they respect scope, timing, and boundaries?
- Do they seem comfortable discussing price directly?
- Do they have a sane approval process?
- Would you still want this project if it takes 20% longer than expected?
